The Hairbrush Incident

Photo from GreatHairStyleTips.com
The other day my darling daughter Kay (age 5) says to me: "Mommy? Mommy? I borrowed your hairbrush."

"Uh, okay..." I reply, not really caring.

But always willing to make conversation with my offspring I ask chirpily, "Which one?"

Then, I wait for her response as if her answer will be the most fascinating thing I've heard all day, and she replies equally cheerfully, "The one with all the white hairs!"

Thank you, Kay. Thank you so much.

I'm linking-up to Finding the Funny, 'case I love funny! You can find the funny at Kelley's Break Room and at My Life and Kids.

Well that's a kick in the pants, eh? I was a little relieved though, as I thought she was going to say it was one she dropped in the toilet or something.

Gray is sophistication, right? Right?!?
