The Giveaway has ended. Winner to be annouced soon.
We spent Father's Day in Jersey City, and it was awesome.
I had no idea Jersey City had such a gorgeous waterfront, including amazing views of Manhattan.
We had brunch at the Hyatt Regency, which is right on the water in Jersey City and my toddler son Ziggy just loved watching the boats go by.
Afterwards, we headed out for a walk on the promenade where we told the kids they could see their grandma's apartment across the way.
So of course, Ziggy called her.
They made plans to go for a swim and meet half-way next time.
Next, we went over to the Liberty Science Center.
And I will tell you - though I sorta don't want to - going there for Father's Day is our new annual tradition because the museum was completely empty.
We had a great time exploring all the exhibits at the Liberty Science Center, as well as the completely empty IMAX. My girls loved taking unlimited turns in the Touch Tunnel, which had no line.
The Liberty Science Center has a great new exhibit In the Dark which will be there until September 3. My kids had a blast looking for the various creatures who inhabit the dark and taking part in hands-on experiments. Another highlight was being able to climb inside a huge bat's head where clicking got progressively louder giving participants the chance to experience echolocation.
There was also the Got Power? exhibit that focuses on alternative energy sources. A huge hit with my car-obsessed son who took the cars for a lot of laps around the track.
You can have your own great day at the Liberty Science Center! I have two tickets to giveaway!
