I've been there. It's all about buying the wrong kind of decorative frosting. Love the cookies - and I bet they were still delicious. Mmmmmm Gimel...or Nun?
ReplyDeletefunny, funny...TRUE. my sweets always taste good (okay they MOSTLY taste good) but they frequently (okay, MOSTLY) look like crap. Sigh. Chocolate chip cookies are pretty much my comfort zone at this point.

Those totally would work though with a different kind of icing. I'm all for minimal effort and maximum cuteness. Those dreidles had both.
